Monaco thrash Marseille in game overshadowed by Mbappe transfer talk

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is seen during the UEFA Champions League Qualifying Play Offs Round First Leg match between Celtic FC and FK Astana at Celtic Park

According to a Friday morning report from Sky Sports Italy, Paris Saint-Germain will be signing French forward Kylian Mbappe this weekend. Radio stations France Info and RMC reported that PSG had agreed to pay 180 million euros ($215 million) including bonuses for the French worldwide striker.

France boss Didier Deschamps has claimed that Kylian Mbappe will be joining another Ligue 1 club before the transfer window closes.

In May 2014 the club had to accept a €60m fine, reduction of their Champions League squad from 25 players to 21, and other sanctions, after a Uefa investigation.

The transfer must be finalized today, but according to the team, the striker will play this season with Parisians on a loan, with an option to buy him after the end of the season for Euro 180 million.

But where does PSG manager Unai Emery, a manager who has his dogmas about balance in his teams, fit in Mbappe, whose eventual sale price has been set at €180m by Monaco?

Rabiot, 22, and Mbappe, 18, have linked up with the France national team at their Clairefontaine base ahead of the World Cup qualifiers against the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

PSG want to loan Mbappe this season to avoid violating UEFA's Financial Fair Play restrictions. FFP rules now stipulate that clubs can not post losses of more than 30 million euros over the three-year period to 2018.

Mbappe blitzed French football last season, catching the eye of all of Europe's biggest clubs.

There have been serious controversies surrounding his future at Monaco with Barcelona reportedly wanting to sign him as a replacement for Neymar.

Jovetic will join Monaco after two seasons on the books of Inter Milan, the latter spent on loan at Sevilla where he made 24 appearances last term in all competitions, scoring seven goals.
