Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will add a third child to their family in January (18), via a surrogate, according to reports.

In several interviews, Kim Kardashian spoke of the trauma of her second childbirth and her desire to have recourse to a surrogate mother. "Both of them have been super involved in the process". Kardashian suffered from placenta accreta during her last pregnancy, a condition which sees the placenta grows into the womb's wall, preventing it from easily detaching at birth.

They continued, "They want everything to be ideal and for the baby to be extremely healthy".

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Kardashian and West hired a 20-something-year-old surrogate to carry their child.

Kim and Kanye, who married in 2014, already share two photogenic kids: daughter North, 4, and 21-month-old son, Saint.

The surrogate is reportedly well provided for, and will be paid $45k for her stint as Kimye's baby incubator.

The surrogate signed a contract agreeing to guidelines, including no drinking, smoking or drug use; no hot tubs or saunas; no raw fish; and no handling cat litter, Us Weekly reported.

Kim Kardashian isn't letting Sharon Osbourne's criticism affect her, posting yet another nude picture on her social media pages on Tuesday.

Sharing the image on her Instagram account, North and Saint West's mum wrote: "So honored to have been photographed by Mert and Marcus for their new book!" She then made things a little more realistic by wearing walking boots.

"Not only has this been really painful, but now hearing that I can't carry any more kids, it couldn't get any worse", she explained.
