Stephen Paddock May Have Scouted 'Life is Beautiful' Concert

Las Vegas Gunman May Have Planned Earlier Attack On Fest Headlined By Lorde

A day after the worst mass shooting in American history, reports state that gunman Stephen Paddock may have had his eyes initially set on a different concert headlined by Chance The Rapper.

The Daily Beast reports that according to a senior law enforcement source, Stephen Paddock, 64, may have initially set his attention on the "Life Is Beautiful" music festival in Vegas the weekend of September 23.

As The Daily Beast reports, police are now investigating leads which indicate that the shooter may have initially planned to attack a larger music festival, which was held a week earlier. Sources believe Paddock may have "lost his nerve" or changed his plans during the time of the festival, and planned a different shooting for the following weekend.

A rep for the owner said, "We're not in a position to confirm or deny anything about Mr. Paddock's dealings".
