Funds Transfer Through PayPal Now Within Facebook Messenger

Facebook Messenger users can now send/receive money through PayPal

PayPal has recently announced their expansion in alliance with Facebook by offering the P2P (Peer-to-Peer) Payments option on the giant social network's Messenger application.

PayPal users in the USA will now be able to send and receive person-to-person payments via Facebook Messenger.

This PayPal feature is locked is United States and it also seems that this feature will reach iOS before Android.

PayPal has also launched a customer service bot for the Messenger app, which allows the user to effortlessly accept payment and to get account assistance directly in the Facebook Messenger app. Search for PayPal in the search field and then type a message and the bot should be able to assist you. You just need to choose PayPal as your funding source and then do your usual log-in details, and then money can be sent and received, just like that.

To date, over 2.5 million users have linked their PayPal account with Messenger, PayPal says, and that number is expected to grow with today's news. Recently Facebook has planned to incorporate PayPal for this objective.

Facebook Messenger is chock full of features, and while some of them are arguably quite useless, there are others that can prove to be quite handy at times.

When composing a message in Messenger with one person, or even a group, people can tap on the blue plus icon, and then select the green payments button to quickly send or request money. We are not sure whether Facebook will make this feature available for the desktop users as well.

When Will The New Apple Pay Features Launch? The service embedded in iOS 11 and it rests with the company when they wish to release it.

Back in 2015, Facebook made it easier for its users to send and receive money through its Messenger app.

In the meantime, the Facebook app has also been updated with improvements to speed and stability.
