Doctor Who Series 10, which wrapped up this summer, marked the third and final series starring Peter Capaldi as the 12th Doctor. Hate or love her new look? The multiple earrings are just icing on the cake.

Fans have been given their very first peek at the all-new look of the brand new Doctor.

But Whittaker is also rocking her own style, putting a fresh, feminine twist on the 13 outfits that came before.

For the uninitiated, "Doctor Who" follows a hyper-intelligent time-traveler who journeys across time and space and encounters all manner of odd life forms and obstacles to overcome. It's more than an honor to play the Doctor.

And the stripes on the jumper could be seen as a nod to those on the striped scarf won by Tom Baker's Doctor.

This costume reveal follows up the recent season 11 cast reveal focusing Whittaker and some of the other actors who will populate her world. Whittaker's costume is a colorful, unique outfit with suspenders, rolled up pants, boots and a large open coat.

But does the Thirteenth Doctor's outfit hold any clues about the future of her tenure? It's nice to see the show didn't attempt opt for a quieter look for its first female Doctor.

Curiously, some Twitter commenters even went as far as complaining about Whittaker's lack of tie, somehow forgetting that many Doctors, like Eccleston's Ninth, Davison's Fifth and Capaldi's Twelfth, didn't wear one.

Also appearing in the Whittaker-led series will be Bradley Walsh, Tosin Cole, Mandip Gill and Sharon D. Clarke.

What do you think about the Doctor's new outfit?
