Witness the Power of the Elder Dragons in Monster Hunter

Final Monster Hunter World beta coming to PS4

PS4 owners have one more beta before Monster Hunter: World hits consoles on January 26.

The Kushala Daora is a steel dragon that can control storm clouds and is protected by thick metal plates. It will include the monsters from the previous beta: Great Jagras, Anjanath and Barroth. The flame king dragon Teostra is a brutal fiend that spits blazing fire and any hunter who faces this fierce and deadly monster is in danger of being engulfed in a hellish inferno.

The trailer showcases gameplay, story, cutscenes and more, for a bunch of absolutely charming monster hunting goodness.

Capcom has also announced that Monster Hunter World will receive new content in the form of free post-launch updates adding new missions, monsters and loot to collect. Dodogama will be making its first appearance in World, and is a rock-eating dragon that can cause said rocks to become explosive with its saliva.

In a video message, Monster Hunter World's producer, Ryozo Tsujimoto, thanked PC players for their patience, saying that more details would be be revealed "later".

The trailer also highlights more than just the Elder Dragons... we also get to see numerous various creatures from the game in glorious eighth-gen quality.

Monster Hunter World is coming for PS4 and Xbox One this month, January 26, and Capcom is being pretty transparent. The PC release, as we learned just a couple of days ago, is not due until autumn this year. The developer promises regular content updates, and every major title update will be made available for free.
