'Fire and Fury' is Being Adapted as a Series

Everyone around Trump thinks he's a charlatan a fool an idiot and someone ultimately not capable of functioning in this job' Wolff said

Endeavor Content reportedly stuck a deal "in the seven-figure range" for the film and TV rights, and as THR reports, is now looking to shop a TV project. Wolff will also serve as the executive producer alongside television veteran Michael Jackson. Fire and Fury has become that rare thing in political books: a bestseller that drives conversation.

The contentious book was published in January and has already sold more than a million copies.

It remains to be seen whether Trump, who loves TV, will react to the news of a possible series with as much ire as he directed at the book. Wolff on Saturday claimed that the book had raised questions about Trump's ineptitude at handling the administration and may as well bring about his downfall.

Donald Trump has, as he does with every piece of media he personally disagrees with, slammed the book as "fake news", and "really boring", and has threatened to sue Wolff and his publisher multiple times.

It is not yet known which network will screen the series.

The book has been at the receiving end of the US President's criticism.

"What was I doing there if he didn't want me to be there?"

In fact, for the first six months of Trump's presidency no one in his White House - including then-chief of staff Reince Priebus and then-press secretary Sean Spicer - stopped Wolff from repeatedly scheduling appointments in the West Wing. "I absolutely spoke to the President". Bookstores sold out within minutes, and e-book and audiobooks sold more than 250,000 and 100,000 copies, respectively.

White House officials' attempts to discredit the book and stop its publications failed, and Fire and Fury debuted at No. 1 on the New York Times best-seller list after the first two days of sales.
