The firm's quarterly revenue was up 12.2% compared to the same quarter last year. analysts predict that Apple will post 11.15 EPS for the current fiscal year.
Kuo is a well-connected and highly-respected analyst with a proven track record.
APPLE could cancel its new iPhone X smartphone as soon as summer, according to one top analyst.
However, it's easy to speculate that Apple would stick with iPhone 9 or whatever it's going to be going called (damn it Apple) because a lot of people still prefer Touch-ID over facial recognition which is still not proven and also its way cheaper. But what should we expect from 2018's models?
KGI added that Apple was likely to ship another 13 million units of the iPhone X within the second quarter of 2018 before ending its production within the middle of the year.
Apparently, Chinese customers are disappointed by the amount of usable space on the phone's display. KGI notes that a large number of Chinese users are now adhering to their existing phones for a long time, and specifically the notch on the top of the iPhone X's Super Retina display has turned away some potential customers in the region.

The tech giant tends to retain the previous years' flagship models as an affordable alternative to the latest iPhones. Everyone knows Apple releases new iPhone models every year, but it would be unusual if it discontinued a newer model only a year after its launch.
Three new iPhones are expected to be launched in Autumn, two will come with OLED screens whilst the other will have a more conventional LCD screen. This is lower than the 72% share iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus took in the same quarter a year ago.
Rakers estimates iPhone shipments at 81.1 million with an average selling price of about $760, and he said the Wells Fargo iPhone Index implies a result in the high-70 million to low-80 million range. Kuo did not talk about the iPhone X sales during the 2017 holiday shopping season.
However the bad news is that it looks like only devices that are eligible for whole-device repairs will get the replacements, and even then Apple does not specify which iPhone 6 Plus units are eligible either.
Sounds like it's worth a try if you have an iPhone 6 Plus in need of a battery.
