Nunes Exposé of Justice Department/FBI Crimes, and Sources, To Be Declassified Soon

According to a report from the Washington Examiner, the House Intelligence Committee may vote next week to release two "dueling classified memos:" one put together by Chairman Devin Nunes and the other authored by desperate Democrats anxious to "correct" the Nunes memo.

"The Justice Department warned Wednesday that it "would be extraordinarily reckless" for the House Intelligence Committee to release a classified memo publicly "without giving the Department and the FBI the opportunity to review the memorandum, ' and to 'advise" on possible harm to national security and ongoing investigations from its public release".

Nunes, the chair of the House Intelligence Committee, drafted the memo, which purports to detail surveillance abuses by the Obama administration as well as political bias in special counsel Robert MuellerRobert Swan MuellerSasse: US should applaud choice of Mueller to lead Russian Federation probe MORE's investigation into whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russian Federation to win the presidential election.

"The day after the election, the day after what they really, really didn't want to have happen, there's a text exchange between these two Federal Bureau of Investigation agents, these supposed to be objective, fact-centric Federal Bureau of Investigation agents, saying perhaps this is the first meeting of the secret society", Gowdy said.

Republican lawmakers have said texts that the Justice Department gave to Congress last week, supplementing another set that lawmakers received past year, show pervasive political bias against Trump.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions said in a speech in Norfolk, Va., Friday that Justice Department "don't see criticism from Congress as a bad thing", but that "while we are open to fair criticism, we will of course defend our investigators and prosecutors from criticism that is unfair".

A Fox News host called the conspiracies surrounding the infamous Nunes Memo a "weapon of mass distraction" on Thursday, departing from the network's extensive coverage of the matter.

After Trump's national security adviser Michael T. Flynn resigned, Nunes said he would not seek to investigate the retired Army general's ties to Russian Federation.

In a statement, California Rep. Adam Schiff, the ranking Democrat on the committee, said Democrats will ask on Monday during a regular committee meeting for a vote to make their memo available to all House members as well. Nadler called the memo a "profoundly misleading document" and said the Judiciary Committee members should view the memo's classified source materials.

GREENE: I know you can't tell us what is in this memo since it's classified, but what can you tell us about it?

"You and I have had the opportunity to review numerous documents that the intelligence committee claims are the basis for its memo", Nadler wrote to his committee's chairman Bob Goodlatte of Virginia.

The four-page document is said to contain claims federal officials abused a USA surveillance programme to target and undermine the Trump campaign.

This week, Assistant Attorney General Stephen Boyd - a political appointee - sent off a letter to the conspiracy-addicted Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Callif.

"I haven't looked at the memo, and I haven't seen the memo", he said.

Strzok, who served as Chief of the Counterespionage Section during the FBI's investigation into Clinton's use of her personal email server, at one point referred to Trump as a "douche" and an "utter idiot". Ron Johnson, R-Wisc., who played up the idea of a "secret society" working against Trump.

If the panel does vote to make the memo public, the ball goes to Trump's court for five days.
