Hillary Clinton, reading 'Fire and Fury,' makes a Grammys cameo

Hillary Clinton reads from

"I have always loved the Grammys but to have artists read the Fire and Fury book killed it", Haley wrote on Twitter Sunday, "Don't ruin great music with trash". A better tweet might have been: 'Some of us love politics/legitimate protest without the reductive and moronic viral hits thrown in it'.

American rapper Snoop Dogg too read out a few lines from the book as violins played in the background: "Trump did not enjoy his own inauguration".

"You think so?" Clinton replied.

Once she was done, host James Corden immediately showed his approval.

"They're complaining because Donald Trump won", Brian Kilmeade declared, before quipping that "it would have been more interesting if she had picked up a copy of Shattered, and read that out loud, or Clinton Cash".

The standout political moment of the show was when Clinton, in a taped segment, was among the celebrity figures "auditioning" to perform the spoken word version of Michael Wolff's book.

Hillary Clinton's surprise Trump-bashing cameo on the 60th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night caused at least a couple of viewers to switch channels, namely the president's United Nations ambassador, and at least one of his sons.

HILARY Clinton made a surprising - and hilarious - Grammy's cameo.

And in part due to that title, Wolff was able to exploit an inexperienced White House staff who mistakenly believed they could shape the book to the president's liking.

A number of people responded on Haley's Twitter thread, and many were critical of the Republican from Lexington, S.C. Several pointed out how music is often political, now and historically.

Donald Trump Jr used the opportunity to take a shot at Clinton's election loss. She looked baffled reading the passage about how Trump likes to eat cheeseburgers in bed. There may be some irony in the fact that she leaped to go on TV for her rich entertainment industry pals but couldn't be bothered to meet voters in Wisconsin, or to spend much time in Pennsylvania or MI either, but that's not the biggest issue.
