LG Announces New G6, Q6 Color Options Ahead Of MWC 2018

This smartphone may offer you maximum choice in terms of colours

If you are, LG is releasing its G6 and Q6 in several new colors.

There were reports LG was planning a release of a new color variant for its G6 flagship. With three new colors joining Astro Black, Ice Platinum, Mystic White, Terra Gold and Marine Blue, the LG G6 will look great in anyone's hand.

The G6 now comes in eight colors: Astro Black, Ice Platinum, Mystic White, Terra Gold, Marine Blue, and the three announced shades.

We're expecting LG to unveil the G7 (or whatever it's 2018 flagship is called) this coming March, and while it should be a darn nice phone, there's still a lot to like about the G6.

LG says the new color variants will first be available in Korea next month before launching in other key markets across the globe. It's now available in the India, where it sells for about Rs.33,000 unlocked. The "Raspberry Rose" LG V30 recently debuted at CES in January, and even in the crowded halls of CES the vibrant pink phone caught our attention.

The sophisticated hue of Moroccan Blue is inspired by the lovely blue buildings in the city of Chefchaouen, Morocco while the silvery romantic shade of Lavender Violet is developed to appeal men and women who appreciate finer things in life. It has a 5.7-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with 18:9 aspect ratio and minimum bezels. The camera department comprises of a dual rear camera setup (13MP+13MP) with dual LED flash, 4K video recording, OIS and 71-degree wide-angle lens. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chipset underneath its hood.

The mid-range LG Q6 released in July 2017.

The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS and it is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery.
