DJ Fired Over Taylor Swift Groping Has New On-Air Gig

DJ Accused of Groping Taylor Swift Back on the Air as “Stonewall Jackson”

The radio DJ who was found guilty of groping Taylor Swift a year ago has returned to radio under a new name - and the pop star's fans are not happy. He hired Mueller as a DJ on country music station KIX in Greenwood, Mississippi, where on Monday Mueller began co-hosting a morning show called "Jackson & Jonbob", according to the New York Daily News and Inside Radio.

Mueller initiated the court battle, suing Swift for $3 million United States dollars in damages and blaming her for losing his job.

Swift then counter-sued Mueller for assault, a case that ruled in the pop singer's favour.

I may not be a fan of Taylor Swift, but she was fearless and candid about her experience, and just after she was on the Time cover for being part of the #MeToo movement, the man who grabbed her is being rewarded with a new job. Well, his new employer, Larry Fuss of Delta Radio, told Daily News that he thinks the DJ is innocent, despite being found guilt by the court. "I tend to believe his version of the story".

Fuss insists that he hired Mueller because of his talent, though his decision was also "maybe a tiny bit" in hopes of drumming up publicity.

"It's just people who don't have a clue, or don't really have any knowledge of the facts", said Fuss. "Because I can tell you right now, the backlash you are receiving right now for your hiring decisions goes way beyond just Taylor Swift fans".

Their contentious case played out over the course of six days in court last August, where Swift testified that Mueller intentionally grabbed her while taking a photo at the Pepsi Center.

"Most of them need to get a life". They're telling people to go to this station's webpage and post negative comments.

In 2015, Mueller filed a lawsuit against Swift in a Denver federal court, alleging the 10-time Grammy victor was the reason he was sacked from his high paying ($150,000 per year) job at country radon station KYGO.
