Frances McDormand 'in tears' after Best Actress Oscar is stolen

That was the question as Terry Bryant faced his first court hearing after picking up Frances McDormand's Oscar statuette at the Governors Ball after the Academy Awards and mugging to the cameras with it.

He was flanked by Bryant's rabbi, Naomi Levy, who described him as a "sweet, gentle man of faith".

The Oscar has since been reunited with Frances, who'd already had her name engraved on the statue before it went missing.

This image taken from video shows Oscar victor Frances McDormand, foreground left, walking into the Governors Ball next to Terry Bryant, center, the man accused of stealing her Academy Award on Sunday, March 4, 2018 in Los Angeles.

"There is a big difference between holding an Oscar and what he is charged with", Brookman said in court. The mugshots were taken by the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office between 1999 and 2002 for charges that included theft, criminal mischief and assault.

He followed Bryant out of the party "and without any resistance from Bryant took the Oscar from him", the statement said. A man, now identified by Los Angeles police as Terry Bryant, tried to make off with her statuette after grabbing it from her table. "They celebrated the reunion with a double cheeseburger from In and Out", McDormand's representative, Simon Halls, said in a statement, referring to the California fast-food chain. The reporter softly reaches out to the actress and asks her for a few congratulatory words for Janney. "The Oscar was returned to the recipient".

Dialogue is not a part of the two protagonists' roles, as del Toro said in an interview, they are "speechless, mute because, to me, love renders you speechless. This is mine", he said, before planting a kiss on the Oscar's head in a since deleted video selfie posted to his Facebook. Bryant then smooches the statue several times before yelling "Who wants to tell me congratulations?"

"My team got this tonight", Bryant says in the video, which is still available on Facebook thanks to the merciful internet gods.
