The explosive final trailer for Avengers: Infinity War

Avengers: Infinity War new trailer released as tickets go on sale

There's also Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) warmly greeting Captain America (Chris Evans), a new invention from Shuri (Letitia Wright), Spider-Man (Tom Holland) and Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch)'s awkward first meeting, and tween Groot.

Avengers: Infinity War has fans straight stoked for its official release as ticketing website Fandango has reported that pre-sale tickets for the movie have beat out other superhero movies such as Black Panther and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. But newer characters like the Guardians of the Galaxy and Doctor Strange are just beginning to meet more established MCU heroes.

The severity of the stakes in Avengers: Infinity War will hopefully be mitigated with jokes like that.

All these highly paid actors will be joining forces against the villainous Thanos (Josh Brolin), the big bad that Marvel has been teasing in post-credit stingers since the first Avengers film was released six years ago.

Whether it was the Russo Brothers or someone else at Marvel Studios ultimately responsible for the trailer, which you can watch again below, some kudos are due. An unprecedented cinematic event that has been 10 years and 18 films in the making, Marvel Studios' Avengers: Infinity War will hit the Indian theatres on April 27, 2018.

Entertainment Weekly revealed Thor will be spending much of Infinity War in the company of Guardians of the Galaxy members Rocket Raccoon (voice of Bradley Cooper) and Groot (voice of Vin Diesel), a now-moody adolescent preoccupied with a handheld video game.

Thanos promises death and destruction as he collects precious Infinity Stones from every superhero. One of the last ones shows Captain America going mano e Titano with Thanos, who already appears to have two of the Infinity Stones, but we'd argue here too that this doesn't exactly qualify as a spoiler. Thor is seen getting his head squeezed by Thanos, while Iron Man's armor is heavily damaged in battle.
