Fortnite Update Adds Vending Machines, Weapon Changes For Battle Royale

Streamer Proves Fortnite’s Shotgun is Broken with Point Blank Shot – Epic Respond

Via a new official post, Epic Games has informed users of a couple of new features and schedule changes coming to Fortnite and its extremely popular Battle Royale multiplayer mode. Because the size of the file appears to be some sort of error on Epic Games part.

The studio has issued a tweet where it makes clear that the 10GB requirement to download the latest Fortnite update, v3.4.4, is just a problem that popped up once publishing the patch into the live game, and that it won't foreseeable at all. Each vending machine also randomly selects a rarity and the costs are as follows. And each machine will sell all three items-one for each material type (Stone, Wood, Metal). In order to purchase what one wants, he could either wait for it to show up, or he could hit the Vending Machine with his pickaxe to skip to the next of the three items.

That's quite the trade, although when people do find a Vending Machine, they'll have to be careful. Chalk it up to luck though, hunting down vending machines is a risky tactic as other players will be drawn to them as well. The vending machine would display each at a time and gradually rotate through them. In other words, you probably won't find a Vending Machine in the middle of Fatal Fields with nothing around it.

Videogame fans looking to get their Fortnite fix now have even more content to look forward to. The vending machine will display one at a time and slowly rotate through them. As you can see, they are bound to come in rather handy.

Fortnite is out now for PC, PS4, Xbox One and iOS.
