U.S. relationship with Russian Federation worse than Cold War era

Syria chemical attack 'staged' with help of foreign secret service Russia

Russian Federation needs our help with their economy, and that it would be very easy to do.

Defense Secretary Jim Mattis arrived at the White House hours after a Russian official said US missiles headed toward Syria would be shot down and Trump responded with a tweeted taunt.

US President Donald Trump posted a fiery tweet earlier on Wednesday, in which he warned Russian Federation - one of Syria's key supporters in the war against foreign-backed militancy - that it should get prepared to "shoot down" missiles that the US military would soon rain down over Syrian targets.

Assad has been bracing for an American strike in response to the suspected chemical attack.

Chillingly, Russian has also threatened to attack the launch sites of United States missiles, raising the specter of an all-out war between the two super-powers.

A Swedish draft resolution, circulated to council members Thursday and obtained by AP, would also express the council's determination to establish "a new impartial, independent and professional" investigative body to determine responsibility for the use of chemical weapons in Syria.

Vassily Nebenzia said Russian Federation is very concerned with "the risky escalation" of the situation and "aggressive policies" and preparations that some governments are making, a clear reference to the Trump administration and its allies. "Get ready Russian Federation, because they will be coming", adding his disapproval of Moscow's support of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

More news: Why Trump is holding off on withdrawing troops from Syria

As usual, US President, Donald Trump took to twitter minutes ago to address three issues in a series of tweets.

Victims of Sunday's chemical weapons attack in Douma, Syria.

Trump had tweeted earlier that Russian Federation shouldn't be allied with a "Gas Killing Animal", a reference to Syrian President Bashar Assad, whose regime is accused of killing dozens of people in a suspected chemical attack on rebel-held Douma over the weekend. "I think there's a better way of doing this".

The ministry's spokeswoman Maria Zakharova questioned whether the idea behind military action was to "use the smart missiles to sweep the traces of the provocation under the rug".

Just minutes later, Trump tweeted a threat at Russian Federation over reports it might try to shoot down missiles launched in retaliation for a Syrian gas attack on anti-government rebels.

If Trump fulfills his threat, the most likely targets for attack will be Syrian military or government facilities, Kwiatkowski predicted.

Amid warnings that firing special counsel Robert Mueller would be "suicide" and could end his presidency, Trump unexpectedly blamed Mueller for preventing better ties with Russian Federation.
