It was his first playoff game with the Thunder since being acquired in a trade with the in in the offseason.

Thunder forward Paul George and Utah guard Donovan Mitchell, the leading scorers for their respective teams in their first-round playoff series, are uncertain for Game 2 on Wednesday because of injuries.

Important questions are surrounding Wednesday night's 2nd game between the Thunder and the Utah Jazz. The rookie came up huge in his playoff debut as he led the way with 27 points and 10 rebounds. From there, it was on. "Donovan, obviously, his aggressiveness on the offensive end fueled us there". "The first half we got stagnant offensively. There was no momentum". Favors also was instrumental in the Jazz's last playoff victory in Los Angeles, where he covered for a foul-plagued Rudy Gobert with 17 points and 11 rebounds.

Will OKC's Paul George play?

35-18: Utah outscored OKC 35-18 after the Thunder took a 10-point lead with 1:02 remaining in the third quarter. "I expect these two, three days in between going to Utah, I should be back to 100 [percent]".

After getting a stop, Russell Westbrook saw a soft defensive presence in front of him and took a dribble up three-pointer that dropped straight through the net, setting off a shockwave. Rubio had a good fantasy night in Game 1 putting up around 40 fantasy points. Harden made 7 of 12 3-pointers, but Trevor Ariza, P.J. Tucker, Eric Gordon and Paul combined to make just 3 of their 22 tries. "They punched us back tonight, and now, we've got to go on the road and get a win at their place, and that's the mindset". A double-digit lead heading into the fourth quarter in front of a wonderful crowd would have been tough for Utah to overcome.

It was a game of runs, but the Thunder couldn't make plays to beat the Jazz as they steal home court with a 102-95 win. Outside of the 19-0 run late in the third quarter, there was very little to get excited about. "Do a better job of knowing when to shoot and when to pass the ball".

The Jazz had the NBA's best defense for the final 30 games of the season for a reason.

James Harden scored 44 points and powered a big fourth-quarter run that allowed Houston to outlast Minnesota in Game 1 of the first-round playoff series. Mitchell just downed it with spins and floaters and free throws and layups. Two free throws by Westbrook were the only points they put up in the frame.
