Stunning Paul Pogba to Barcelona claim made about Mino Raiola

Ander Herrera

Despite the positive, "Sky Sports News" are reporting that Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola, has travelled to Manchester in an effort to force through a move to Spanish champions Barcelona before the transfer window closes.

The France World Cup victor has been linked with a move to the Nou Camp amid speculation over his future at Old Trafford. During France's World Cup celebrations, Pogba didn't forget about his former teammate.

According to the Daily Mail, the Portuguese Football Association is considering a move for Mourinho, whose future at United could be in the balance, to take over the national team's hot seat.

Pogba, a favourite of executive vice chairman Ed Woodward, has three years left on his contract with the option of a further 12 months, and the club are under no pressure to sell.

Former Manchester United defender Wes Brown believes that Paul Pogba will stay put at Manchester United this season and express himself more for the Red Devils.

The France worldwide has been linked to Spanish giants Barcelona following his impressive performances in winning the World Cup with his country.

Despite the 25-year-old's feelings, however, United have no intention of selling the Frenchman, according to one source, just two years after splashing out a then-world-record fee to bring him back to Old Trafford from Juventus.

"We respect the player and the teams they are on".

'The players are in a closed camp, isolated from the external world, from commercial compromises, and every possible influence'.

FC Barcelona could feasibly complete a deal to sign Pogba any time between now and the end of August, when the European transfer window closes.

But, Gianluca Di Marzio.com claim Barcelona have made the first move to sign Pogba by offering a player the club knows United would like. "It's about him giving the best he has to give".
