Angelina Jolie alleges Brad Pitt hasn't paid any 'meaningful child' support

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's Kids Through the Years

The court prescribed an gradual increase in the amount of time the kids had with Pitt, saying, "It is critical that each of [the six] children have a healthy and strong relationship with their father and mother".

It comes amid rumours Angelina's divorce with Brad Pitt is turning sour, with the star's lawyer having to deny she was leaving the case.

"This happened because Brad became fed up and said he wanted to start the formal process of divorce again and filed papers to do that", a source allegedly close to Pitt told Page Six, calling it "nothing more than a publicity stunt", the Los Angeles Times reported.

"Jolie's attorney Samantha Bley DeJean said in the file: "[Pitt] has a duty to pay child support.

In a new court filing obtained by ET and filed on Tuesday, Jolie accused Pitt of not paying any "meaningful" child support for a year and a half, and said she's planning to get a court order mandating that he pay it. The documents acknowledge that the duo had an "informal arrangement", but that Pitt has not lived up to that agreement.

Jolie filed for divorce in September 2016, ending two years or marriage and a 10-year romance that had made the pair one of Hollywood's most glamorous and powerful couples.

Jolie was granted physical custody of all six children in a December 2016 custody agreement, but last month, she was ordered by a judge to help fix the children's relationship with their father.

Since the former couple have yet to officially divorce any financial agreement was an "informal arrangement" according to DeJean.

The order outlined a shared custody schedule for the summer in which the children would split their time between Los Angeles and London, with Jolie maintaining primary physical custody.

Access has reached out to reps for both Brad Pitt for comment.

The September 2016 split quickly turned nasty, with the Federal Bureau of Investigation being called in to investigate claims that Pitt hit their eldest child, Maddox, during an argument on a plane.
