Google Pixel 3 leaks again with USB C Pixel Buds in tow

It's running Android 9 - again, no surprise there - and it lists an 8-core CPU accompanied by an Adreno 630 GPU.

Google's upcoming Pixel 3 XL, which will arrive this fall to do battle with Apple's larger iPhone, has leaked out early in a series of unboxing photos. They're all about changing the phone, after all, not the accessories.

In addition, we can now see that the power button is a different color from the rest of the phone after all, only it's a light shade of green/blue rather than orange like we'd previously seen on prototype models. The images show the Pixel 3 XL switched on and in working condition, lending weight to its legitimacy.

The back shows the usual single camera setup and fingerprint reader. You're just asking for the phone to get remotely wiped.

The Pixel 3 XL, fresh out of the box.

Sure, the notch on the iPhone X might be wider, but the one on the Pixel 3 XL is nearly 2x more deep which makes it look pretty awkward. First, the notch design of the Pixel 3 XL looks like a mess. The exceedingly tall notch at the top also seems to stretch the status bar with vertically centered icons. The phone will run Android 9 Pie. Coincidentally or not, Google released Android 9 Pie just a few days ago and managed to made headlines at a time when everyone was talking about Samsung's Galaxy Note 9.

The contents of the retail box confirm that apart from the usual USB-C charger, cable, and OTG adapter, Google will also be bundling USB-C earphones with the device this time around. It isn't clear if Google will release this in Malaysia so you'll probably need to turn to grey importers if you're interested.
